Amy Jo Hall

Since 1997, Amy has enjoyed a fruitful career in the commercial real estate industry, involved in both ground up development of master planned communities, enclosed regional shopping centers and redevelopment of established retail shopping centers. As Caton Commercial’s COO Amy oversees the day to day operations, talent recruiting, professional development, and strategic growth for the Caton family of companies. Prior to joining Caton she has led the day to day operations, performance, and training of brokerage, development and leasing divisions for other commercial real estate firms. Hall has extensive experience in ground up and repositioning development of retail assets, retail lease negotiations, commercial property management, staff architecture, performance management and optimization, sales and leadership training and development, maximizing revenue streams to drive value, strategic planning, tactical implementation, budgeting and forecasting.
Cultivating excellence in team members through professional development and coaching are Ms. Hall’s passions. Since 2005 she has helped educate, mentor, coach and train hundreds of industry leasing and leadership professionals for her own organizations and through the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and various other industry organizations. She is a shopping center industry thought leader; actively participating in various industry conferences and educational institutes. Amy also enjoys mentoring real estate professionals through the ICSC Foundation, The Goldie Initiative and the CCIM IL Chapter.
As an active member of the community, and philanthropic supporter, she serves as an officer, and past president, of her women’s philanthropic educational organization – PEO Illinois Chapter MV, on the fundraising committee for the O’Brien School for the Maasai and served as a board of director for the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra. She actively seeks out volunteer opportunities on an ongoing basis with organizations such as The Amos Group, PADS, Family Shelter Services, Chicago Help Initiative, Save My Starving Children, and the Chicago Food Bank in order to serve and support others. Amy is a lifelong member of chancel choirs. Amy holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Psychology and Master of Arts in Professional Development.
